Do More in 2024!

As the new year approaches, it is a time to reflect on all you have accomplished, the goals you set for yourself and the steps you took to get to where you are now. The new year can bring new objectives and a feeling of new purpose. The following list includes new year's resolutions that you may want to implement going into 2024:


Go someplace you've never been.

Make a goal to step outside of your comfort zone and do new daring things. Going to new destinations even in your own area is good for the soul and may force you to test your comfort boundaries. 


 Clear out the clutter.

Clutter can be distracting and can even cause or heighten stress. Make 2024 the year of organization and cleanliness.


Write down one thing you're grateful for every night.

Make it a point in 2025 to end your night with gratitude and you'll feel better when you lay your head down on your pillow. "Never go to bed angry." It's a cliché, but it's true.


Let go of grudges.

Start 2025 with a clean slate, leave hate behind and make it an intention to move forward with positivity and empathy


Start a new hobby.

The satisfaction you get from adopting a new hobby, whether it's crafting, starting a new activity, or finding a new way to spend your time is undeniable.


Talk Less, Listen More

Everyone wants to be heard. Going into the new year we should all make it a point to practice empathy by listening to others, asking questions, and having tough conversations. 



Work out to feel good

The numbers on a scale can be intimidating for some. If we instead focus on the amazing feeling we get when being active, the new year could bring new life to our health habits.


Give one compliment a day.

You’d be amazed how something as simple as complimenting someone could have a positive influence on their day.


Read a book a month.

Reading is good for the brain, it can reduce stress, improve memory and focus, and can be a great way to wind down after a busy day.


Talk to yourself with kindness.

We aim to be nice to others but then criticize ourselves relentlessly. Think nicer things about yourself moving into the new year.


Above all else, going into the new year practicing positivity and empathy can make an influential impact on your time moving forward!
